Plenty of web developers and SEO gurus suggest moving your scripts to the footer of your site or at least load them asynchronously. You don’t have to be a WordPress guru to pull this off. Not when you can use one of these plugins:
Scripts To Footer: the name is pretty self-explanatory. It moves your scripts to the footer, as long as they are coded correctly. You do have the option to exclude pages that should not have their scripted deferred.
WP Scripts & Styles Optimizer: lets you move your scripts to the footer of your site and control their output. Want to deactivate specific scripts? No problem.
Autoptimize: this plugin can move and defer scripts to the footer. It also minifies your HTML code.
