Many of us use WordPress menus to make it easier for our website visitors to find what they are looking for. In many cases, it makes sense to display some menus and menu items only to users with certain privileges. Privilege Menu is a handy plugin that allows you to display menu items based on the role or status of your users.
Privilege Menu shows menu items based on if a user is logged in/out. You simply have to choose user restrictions and access roles for menu item once you add them. There are other ways to pull this off, but thanks to this plugin, you can change themes while preserving your menu settings. This is a free tool.
