Pretty Good Privacy (PGP) is a data encryption and decryption computer program that provides cryptographic privacy and authentication for data communication. PGP is often used for signing, encrypting, and decrypting texts, e-mails, files, directories, and whole disk partitions and to increase the security of e-mail communications.
Using PGP to secure your communications is not that difficult. But these PGP plugins make it even easier:
wp2pgpmail: a PGP mail form for WordPress. Your visitors can use it to send you a PGP encrypted message. The pro version provides support for Gravity Forms.
PGP Key Generator: generates private and public PGP keys. You can technically use this plugin to encrypt or decrypt PGP messages.
SimpleSecure: a secure contact form that encrypts messages using a PHP implementation of PGP / GPG. You can manage your public GPG keys via the settings panel.
These PGP plugins help you protect your communications with encryption. You don’t have to be super technical to use these.
